Women who suffer from conditions like thrombophlebitis, cerebral or coronary artery disease, suspected carcinoma of the breast, undiagnosed genital bleeding, cholestatic jaundice and hepatic adenomas must not use this pill. Women who have a known or suspected pregnancy also must not use Apri. The medicine is usually advised to be taken on an empty stomach. But it can be bothersome in few women.
