For the pill to be effective at night it should be taken in afternoon thereby the effectiveness of the pill increases. Taking pills late could be harmful an alternative should be thought of in that case. There are placebo pills to be taken with mini pills. The placebo pills are pills which contain no hormones or in other word no active ingredients.
