Condoms are the most common form of contraceptives which are used these days in order to prevent sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy. It is basically a thin layer of rubber or latex which is worn over the penis while having intercourse. The layer of latex or rubber obstructs the flow of ejaculated semen from one man’s penis to a women’s vagina. Some people can be allergic to latex that can cause irritation. If a condom worn and used properly with proper knowledge then there can be no side effects of using a condom. Men can suffer from an infection of gonorrhea for improper use of condoms. Though condoms are reliable and trustworthy they can break due to improper use of them. Condoms can also slip off the penis while having sex due to selection of wrong size of condoms or loss of erection. Limited satisfaction could be a disadvantage of using a condom but if you neglect them then can be some serious issues of sexually transmitted diseases. It is always better to use a condom rather thinking of their side effects compared to the side effect “of not wearing a condom”.
