Do You Use YAZ Birth Control?

Yaz is developed from Drospirenone/Ethinyl/Estradiol; a generic medicine that keeps you from becoming pregnant.   A progesterone and estrogen combination that changes the wall of the cervix and periods are ceased for matters of months.

Serious side effects develop from drospirenone in women if they smoke, especially for women over 35. Smoking more than fifteen cigarettes a day using Yaz, has a greater chance of developing blood clots, heart attacks and stroke.

Yaz should not be used if you have a history of heart disease, such as, migraines, uncontrolled blood problems, uncontrolled blood pressure, endometrial or cervical cancers, diabetes with circulation problems, or abnormal vaginal bleeding.

Women with kidney disease, tumors, a history of yellowish coloration of the skin or eyes after using birth control. Heart Disease, heart valve problems, angina, should also not use Yaz.

When considering the usage of Yaz a complete medical history should be discussed by your doctor, due to side effects that can be caused by using Yaz.

Yaz does not work well with other medications. If you are prescribed Yaz, check with your doctor or your pharmacist about the combination of using other medications with the use of Yaz.
